The problem is that The SUV sometimes wont start. when you get in and turn the keys, the lights and everything turns on but the engine won't.
To do this, turn on the ignition, use your centralized button to enter the digits, several quick presses (example: 2 for digit 2) then a stop of one and a half seconds to confirm the digit and resume, replicate the procedure until you have entered the whole code. Remove the wires, ( battery disconnected obviously), Remove the two bottom bolts first, then slide the starter out as you unscew the nut. .use a 15mm socket with an adaptor to 1/4 / 3/8 drive. Allow for extensions to get the ratchet past the end of the starter. Cheers.

If you can unlock the car open the door, then shut the door and then lock it again and then leave the car for 30mins (to be safe) then unlock and try and start. if you have left the car unlocked for a length of time they do have a habit of immobilising themselvesthe more you try the more it locks the car out.
