RF 24-105 f4-7.1 is small and inexpensive and very very good. its the Honda Accord of lenses. the decision to invest in the RF 70-200 f/2.8 was easy because i did not have an EF version of that zoom.

When you shoot at longer focal lengths, you need a faster shutter speed. Plus this is a focal length you may want to use for shooting sports or wildlife as well, which also tend to require faster shutter
