Parking Sensors only monitor the last "few" centimeters. Most people ingame, i guess, have more of a problem getting an idea how much to steer left or right to get the trailer in a straight position at the parking spot, regardless of initial angle. And to help with that, it would need a guidance system. Parking the trailer at the destination only gives a flat 45 XP, so whether or not you want to park the trailer is your choice (see the Parking the Trailer section for details on doing this). I normally do park the trailer myself, and have gotten used to doing it only using the mirrors, however in the profile used for testing this guide, I Practise is the best. But if you are in a hurry I always park with View mode 2 (Key 2). So I get a birds-eye on the truck. If you park with this view you will be able to understand the technique and see what your actions are if you swing to the left or right.
