Piece of to do. Remove the bottom cover, unbolt the compressor from the chassis. Once lowered, you can see the drier, held on with a single screw, remove screw and twist anti clockwise, then pull off. It can be tight/stuck on the o-ring, but persevere, and spray with something slippy, to help it off.
1. Location. Annapolis MD USA. My 2018 D5 has developed an air suspension issue and will only achieve normal height so took it to Land Rover for a diagnosis and they said that they could hear air leaking from the compressor and it should be replaced for a mere $2700 including labor. I purchased the full work shop service manual and found out

Speaky1. Most likely there is a leak in the air system causing compressor to run on. sort the leak - it WILL kill the compressor. prime candidate is the air tank. They get pin hole rust leaks in the top. Easy to drop to inspect. There are numerous faults on the air suspension system.

My 2006 Range Rover Vogue SE has a fault, when I am driving along towing my car trailer with my TVR Race car on the back, after 10 to 15 miles a warning light and bleep comes on, it says there is a HDC fault and then the suspension lowers it's self down. I stop turn things off and it resets it's self and then it happens again 10 to 15 miles later.

Location: Canberra. Posts: 1107. You may very well have a dryer issue in the compressor but a faulty compressor does not cause the car drop to the bump stops. For sure if it is down a faulty compressor will prevent the suspension coming back up but it does not cause it to drop - this is a function of valve blocks and the suspension ECU. 1D7GmA.
